Jim Beam Makes History, Fills 13 Millionth Barrel of Bourbon

Jim Beam made history by achieving a bourbon-industry first and filling its 13 millionth barrel of bourbon since the repeal of Prohibition in 1933. The barrel personally was filled and sealed by Fred Noe, Jim Beam’s great-grandson and seventh generation master distiller, at the company’s flagship distillery in Clermont, Ky. Also on hand to celebrate the milestone was Freddie Noe, an eighth generation Beam who also works at the distillery.

Blondie to Release 40th Anniversary Double-Disc Package on May 13

2014 marks Blondie’s 40th anniversary as a band. In celebration of this milestone, the band will release a special double-disc package entitled Blondie 4(0) Ever on May 13 via NOBLE ID/ESMG. Employee Distrust is Pervasive in U.S. Workforce

Despite the rebound in the U.S. economy and an improving job market, nearly one in four workers say they don’t trust their employer and only about half believe their employer is open and upfront with them, according to the American Psychological Association’s 2014 Work and Well-Being Survey.  While almost two-thirds (64 percent) of employed adults feel their organization treats them fairly, one in three reported that their employer is not always honest and truthful with them.
