NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly Returns Safely to Earth After 1-Year Mission

NASA astronaut and Expedition 46 Commander Scott Kelly and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Kornienko returned to Earth Tuesday, March 1 after a historic 340-day mission aboard the International Space Station. They landed in Kazakhstan at 11:26 p.m. EST (10:26 a.m. March 2 Kazakhstan time). Joining their return trip aboard a Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft was Sergey Volkov, also of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, who arrived on the station Sept. 4, 2015. Honeywell No Longer Pursuing Combination With United Technologies

Honeywell announced on March 1 that it is no longer pursuing a strategic combination with United Technologies due to its unwillingness to engage in negotiations. U.S. News & World Report unveiled on March 2 the 2016 Best Places to Live in the U.S. The new list ranks the country’s 100 largest metropolitan areas based on affordability, job prospects, and quality of life. Denver is named the No. 1 place to live on the inaugural list, followed by Austin, Texas, at No. 2. Fayetteville, Ark., and Raleigh-Durham, N.C., take the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively. New CareerBuilder and Emsi Analysis Finds College Degrees Are Not Keeping Up With Demand in Critical Areas

Nearly two thirds (63%) of employers reported that they are concerned about the growing skills gap in the U.S1.
