Zillow analyzed how a short-term loss of income could affect renters’ finances, and what effect these proposals could have on housing affordability for workers in some hard-hit industries if they are out of work for two months.

ViacomCBS and Meredith Corp. Announce Multi-Year Affiliation Renewals
ViacomCBS and Meredith Corp. on March 26 announced a multi-year deal to renew affiliation agreements for all seven of its CBS affiliates, including three top 25 market affiliates: WGCL in Atlanta; KPHO in Phoenix; and KMOV in St. Louis, Mo. The seven markets combined reach 7% of the U.S. audience serving more than 7.6 million television households.

United Way of New York City Announces Official Launch of the COVID-19 Community Fund
United Way of New York City (UWNYC) on March 25 announced the official launch of the COVID-19 Community Fund to assist the most vulnerable New Yorkers impacted by the global pandemic. The COVID-19 Community Fund will provide resources to our partner community-based organizations that work with communities who are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the economic consequences of the outbreak. To help support the fund’s initial kickoff, the New York Jets and the Johnson family and National Grid have made generous donations of $500,000 and $250,000, respectively.
