U.S. Postal Service Announces Changes to Delivery Time for Priority Mail Express, and Seeks to Transfer Bound Printed Matter Parcels to the Competitive Product List

The U.S. Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) on March 26 seeking to transfer Bound Printed Matter (BPM) Parcels to the Competitive Product list and simplifying the delivery time for Priority Mail Express (PME). The changes to PME will take effect no earlier than May 23. The BPM Parcel change will take effect on a date yet to be determined. It is subject to approval by the PRC.

New Poll Reveals Parents’ Perspectives on Learning During COVID-19 Pandemic

A national poll released on March 25 reveals parents’ perspectives on learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and their greatest concerns for their children. The poll surveyed parents and guardians with children in grades K-12 in public schools. It was conducted by Edge Research and commissioned by National PTA and Learning Heroes. The findings build on results released in February on parents’ views on end-of-year state assessments during the pandemic.
