We Love These 4 Car Blogs By and For Women

The truth remains that women in the automotive industry are still few and far between. Yet, according to research, women buy 62% of all new cars sold in the U.S. and influence 85% of car purchases. But while women have a major influence on auto purchase decisions, they have remained dramatically underrepresented in the male-dominated automotive industry.
This week, I’d like to highlight four blogs that are the embodiment of female empowerment. The following car blogs for women provide a fresh and unique take on information about cars, and they represent gender equality within the automotive and motorsports industry.
1. Changing Lanes
Blogger Caroline is the founder and editor of Changing Lanes. Based in Ireland, she shares a passion for cars and has had amazing opportunities to drive hundreds of cars in her lifetime.
The blog features interviews with female professionals in the automotive industry, such as Australian car blogger Andrea Michelle Indy. Changing Lanes provides useful statistics and research presented in an easy-to-read format, so it’s a great place to start if you don’t want to do all the research alone.

2. A Girls Guide To Cars
A Girls Guide to Cars is an inclusive community of writers and reviewers that empowers women with helpful information, unique insights and shared experiences. The blog encourages women with purchasing power to make smart decisions within the automotive industry.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she is very much representative of minorities within the auto industry.
