I’m impressed by those who can find good fashion at the thrift store.
My daughter is especially great at this. She finds dresses, jeans, designer bags — you name it. And, it’s all at a fraction of the retail price.
Goodwill is trying out new store formats, as well as online eBay-style auctions.
When it comes to thrift store finds, the ladies have it. (Online stylist Joseph Knowles is an exception to that rule. Follow him on Instagram to see.)
Here are some of my favorites.
1. Fashion Steele NYC
Founder of Fashion Steele NYC, Monroe Steele is a fashion, lifestyle, and travel writer.
Her blog is “a personal fashion, lifestyle and travel website where luxury, thrift and high street meet,” she says on the site.
I enjoyed reading Why I went Natural, Seasonal Blogger, and Canadian Tuxedo–because denim on denim always prevails.

2. Dina’s Days
Dina’s passion for thrifting began at an early age in the ’90s when she lived in Amman, Jordan.
Now in Akron, Ohio, she finds 95 percent of her wardrobe secondhand, and blogs for Goodwill Akron and the Cleveland Flea.

3. Thrifting Diva
Ayana Pitterson is a personal stylist, thrifting expert, and fashion blogger. She was born in Trinidad, grew up in NYC, and is now based in Annapolis, Maryland.
She unearths “sartorial treasures and fabulous fashion finds in consignment shops, thrift stores, yard sales, estate auctions, fashion swaps and vintage boutiques,” according to the site.

I personally think the biggest benefit of buying secondhand clothes would be to save money like you said.
