I’m 26 years old and I still can’t drink coffee because of the bitter taste.
I drink tea on weekends because I find it really relaxing, but also (mostly) because I can’t be bothered to wake up earlier – I get up at 4:30 a.m. – to make anything. With so much going on lately, I thought it would be nice to take a look at the relaxing side of life.
As a side note, I’m an awful heathen and I use tea bags and put milk in my tea.
1. Seven Cups
Seven Cups is an American tea company that focuses on the creation and distribution of specialty Chinese teas. All of the tea is hand-selected by owner Austin Hodge and comes directly from Chinese tea masters.
I like this blog a lot because it gives you insight on what’s going on behind the scenes in the tea industry and presents an educational side to the trade.
I recommend reading “Spring Teas Arrive In The Desert” and “How To Stay Alive in the Specialty Tea Business.”

2. The Cup of Life
Lu Ann Pannunzio has been enjoying tea since she was seven and has made it her goal to “share how versatile the leaf can be!” Like the previous blog, I found this site to have a pretty cool educational focus.
The way this blog is written and laid out reminds me of several inspirational positivity blogs, which I really appreciate.

3. Lord Devotea’s Tea Spouts
I’m going to be completely honest here. The name and header image were what compelled me to explore this blog. They are hilarious!
Lord Devotea, aka Robert Godden, claims to drink 8 to 12 cups of tea each day. He is heatedly opposed to teabags and has one of the most humorous and enchanting ways of writing about something that could be considered mundane for many.

4. Tea Squirrel
I was drawn to this blog because, like a lot of the other blogs I’m drawn to, it has a sort of travel theme going on. Anna’s Tea Squirrel is focused on helping people connect with other people and the world around them through the tradition of tea.
Her emphasis on the relaxing aspect of tea is what keeps me on board – as I mostly drink tea as a form of “relaxation ritual.”
